Ben Farnstrom Funeral Director - Embalmer Oregon License # CO-3716	Ben Farnstrom is the Co-Owner of Farnstrom Mortuaries. He is a licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer and service as manager of Farnstrom Mortuary. He served his apprenticeship at Farnstrom Mortuary before going to mortuary school at Mt. Hood Community College. While in school he worked at Mt. Scott Funeral Home in Portland, Oregon. Ben graduated from Central High School in Independence in 1997. He Graduated from Mortuary School in Gresham, Oregon in 2000. In August of 1999 he became certified to perform eye enucleations for the use in transplants and research. He returned to Independence in 2001. Active in the community, Ben is involved with Monmouth / Independence Chamber of Commerce, LeTip International of Dallas/Monmouth/Independence, Monmouth / Independence Rotary and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #1950 in Independence. Ben's wife Kelly (Prough) is from Sheridan, Oregon, She works as a 2nd grade teacher at Auburn Elementary School in Salem, Oregon. They have a daughter together named Riley Jean Farnstrom who was born on September 28, 2006. Ben assists families with at-need arrangements, pre-arrangements and pre-financing, grave markers. He enjoys fishing, music, sports, cars, working around his home and spending time with his family and his English Bulldog "Oliver". Ben is second generation Farnstrom Funeral Director has been helping Monmouth, Independence and Dallas area families for over 9 years and is committed to serving those who put their trust in him and he understands the needs of the community.
Alex Farnstrom Funeral Director - Embalmer Oregon License # CO-3654	Alex Farnstrom is a Co-Owner of the Farnstrom Mortuaries. He is a second generation Funeral Director and Embalmer. Alex has been working at the funeral home in Independence since 1994 and took over as manager or Farnstrom-Gable Funeral Chapel in November of 2004. Leaving for a short time at work in Sandy at the Sandy Funeral Home. Alex is a graduate of Central High School in Independence and attended Mortuary School at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon. In August of 1998 he attended a seminar on the importance of pre-arranged funeral plans, in Austin, Texas. In April of 1999 he attended a professional arrangement development class, in Batesville, Indiana. In August of 1999 he became certified to perform eye enucleations for the use in transplants. Alex is married to Misty (Cyphert) of Independence. The couple now lives in Sandy, Oregon and have a daughter Nicole. Alex enjoys sports (GO BEAVERS) hunting, cars, traveling and spending time with his family. In the community, Alex is a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Gateway Lodge #2411, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons East Gate Lodge #155, and the Montavilla Kiwanis International. He has also been involved with the Independence Monmouth Rotary International and has been an assistant basketball coach at Talmadge Middle School in Independence.
Misty Farnstrom Public Relations / Pre-Planning	Misty Farnstrom is a licensed insurance agent is and works at Farnstrom-Gable Funeral Chapel as a Pre-Planning and Public Relations Director. Prior to coming to work at Farnstrom-Gable Misty worked as an Administrator of Cedar Village Assisted Living in Salem, and River Road Assisted Living in Kiezer, Oregon. She is a graduate of Central High School and Western Oregon University. Misty is married to Alex Farnstrom of Independence The couple now lives in Sandy, Oregon and have a daughter Nicole. Misty enjoys car shows, shopping, traveling and spending time with her family In the community, Misty has been involved in the Meals on Wheels program along with many other senior programs and activities.

Laurey Lee Family Service Counselor	Laurey Lee has lived in Keizer, Oregon for the past 30+ years where she and her husband Jim have raised a family of six children. She enjoys directing the choir at her church, volunteering as a camp director for teen girls, researching family history, and spending time with her eight grandchildren. She has been helping area residents make funeral pre-arrangements for the past ten years and is now pleased to be offering her services to both Keizer Funeral Chapel and Farnstrom Mortuary in Independence . She is a licensed insurance agent and a graduate of Western Oregon University. She particularly enjoys visiting with area residents and getting to know them as she helps families make planning decisions. She says: "I really love my job and the wonderful people I meet!"
Jeff Adams Pre-Planning Director Farnstrom - Gable Funeral Chapel	Jeff Adams a licensed insurance agent representing Farnstrom-Gable Funeral Chapel as a Pre-Planning Director.  Jeff was born and raised in Great Falls, MT. After high school he served four years in the U.S. Navy, including the first Gulf War. He then moved to Portland, OR in 1992 where he began a career in the funeral and cemetery industry.  He has been associated with Farnstrom-Gable Funeral Chapel Since June of 2007.  Jeff is married Crystal(Peek) on  November 19,  2004.  The couple still live in Portland, Oregon along with Jeff's children Leila, Justin  and Rachel. Jeff's passions outside of family and work include running, hiking, sports and Christian theater.
